I was a Zone VI Newsletter subscriber for many years and it was always a thrill to find another installment in the mail. I, as I am sure many others, was saddened when I received the final installment with Newsletter #83. I miss Fred Picker!
I have used my complete collection of Zone VI Newsletters as a reference for many years and have referred to it often. I purchased a partial index prepared by Mr. George C. Pappas and made many notes within its pages also. Eventually I compiled an even more detailed index of my own for the entire volume of Fred’s newsletters.
At the urging of several friends, I am offering my Zone VI Newsletter Index here as a free download in PDF format. I have created two formats of the index. One is sized in the same dimension as the original pages from Zone VI. You will have to print this out and trim the pages to fit your binders. The other is formatted for printing on standard 8.5×11 paper. My version of the index is sorted in three versions; First by CATEGORY; Second by ISSUE; and Third by SUBJECT.
I would like to thank Mr. Pappas for starting this index and offering me a point of departure to add more information. This index is in no way a complete work within itself. There may be some mistakes, but it should serve well as a guide to finding specific information. I hope that everyone finds this a helpful addition to their Zone VI Newsletter collection.
