Hello and welcome to my part of our 'ever-growing' web site.  I am a large format black & white photographer.  I work with both horizontal and vertical formats.  J.B. and I both love to travel and photograph.  We each use wooden field cameras with film sizes that vary from 4x5 to 16x20 inches.

Last September, J.B. and I headed out to Yosemite with my brand new vertical 8x20 camera.  I was eager to try it out.  J.B. had spent most of the Summer building the camera for me.  Just east of Yosemite, we found this waterfall.  We packed the camera, lens and everything else that would be needed.  We found a couple of rocks, along the riverbank, to set the tripod on and quickly went to work.  There were two negatives made from this location, "WATERFALL" and "CASCADING WATER".  Just click on the images to the left for a larger view.
